Laurel just can't get enough of poor Dylan.

Dylan really likes this plant. At times, recently, he'll stick his face right in the dirt like he loves the smell.

Laurel is Sticker Queen, and this is what she likes to do with them.

At the Vino Piazza wine tasting place (where we actually also went when we visited in April of last year)

This is a supposed-to-be-kinda-artsy shot, which I took when a certain compositional possibility seemed to present itself.

For some reason Laurel sometimes sleeps with her feet stuck out between the crib bars.

It was another moist spring in Texas; a huge storm blew through and well-nigh split a tree in our neighbor's front yard in half, and this was the result. Similar scenes are to be found elsewhere in town.

"The boys" are getting along famously, as always.

Laurel's enjoying her new booster seat.

This and the following two are some pictures taken at a playdate with Laurel's friend Gloria...

Some friends of ours, the Herstads, took this picture when they babysat for us at their place one evening.

Laurel loves to dance!

Laurel climbs up on chairs now. We have to keep a close eye on her!

visiting my grandparents in Dallas, meeting the new puppy

Laurel was enthralled by the ice skaters at the Dallas Galleria.

Laurel loves being outside...

With her chalk on the pavement: "bloooo!"

"Wheee!"

Sometimes Laurel sleeps with her butt in the air.
