Ents Mind 09/03/06
alot has been happening lately, enough for me not to update here for a while
firstly my subscription for this very website has ran out, so im not sure if this entry itself is going to post. people seem to still be able to view the journal which is fine. i will need to re-do the subscription as soon as i have the funds to do so!
on the career front i have made an application for the IT department within helphire now, i sent my CV, and internal application form off yesterday, so i should be hearing back soon'ish about the position... or an interview, i think an interview is more likely!
on the social front it has dwindled considerably, mainly because i have decided to be stubborn with particular people. my choice, so i shouldnt really complain, juggle that with work, the gym, gaming, and emma... and there isnt much time availible realistically anyway! but still, i hope they know why... if not then thats even worse!
needless to say the rule of not turning up, so not getting invited to the next one applies. no matter who you are, its the rule of socialising.
i had my one-to-one with my team leader last week aswell, they have offered me the chance to pretty much BETA test the new program that is coming in to the office within the next 12 months. she has seen me pottering around the office helping other people with software issues and thought i'd have a better idea on how to "test" the software, or more accurately, attempt to break it to find any issues before it goes live on the system and cause havoc across the company.
to which, as you can expect, i am honoured, i got chosen over 400 people! says alot!
it is almost time for me to leave you all now!

fun fun, FUCKING FUN!
this weekend was a barrell of laughs...
been spending the majority of it trying to avoid upsetting people but seem to be only doing that
such fun
now i have a moment to myself ive tried playing some games peacefully before anyone gets up and im am in one hell of a bad mood!
so dont come crying to me today, because quite frankly... i dont care.
sunday is a day of rest, and thats exactly i intend doing!

Birthday Party And Stuff
today is the day after my birthday bash, it was an enjoyable evening bar some minor problems (all alcohol related - nothing serious) recieved some gifts from mark which actually own, he got me copies of Red VS Blue Season 1 - 3 which has made my day, especially as i was a bit worried about the party bieng a complete flop. however, much to my relief, the party was a big success... well as far as im concerned it was, we set up a DJ station for Phil so he can do some DJ'ing for the party (his suggestion, we just made a uber station for him!)
in case you cant see the details in the picture, this little DJ'ing station has a basic mixing deck which allows 2 discs to be mixed together. however, just because we can, we moved all our music (mine and steve's music combined) onto phil's computer, and linked it into the DJ mixing decks so we can mix anything into our music!!! - awesome stuff!
also if you throw in a smoke machine and some vibration activated lights, you got a mini nightclub in your living room! we changed the light bulbs for red ones and even had a mini bar light! we really put alot of effort into this party
however, only a handful of people turned up! which is a MAJOR disappointment, and made me understand just where i stand with particular people, needless to say i wont be chasing after them anymore, if they arnt interested i wont waste my time chasing them.
for all those people who did actually turn up - thankyou! it meant alot to me, and im sure steve and phil aswell, alot of effort was put into this party ... thankyou for making it worth the effort!
i am now in the process of downloading music... i've downloading a album from a band called "Within Temptation" they are incredible! similar to nightwish, but softer, more melow and relaxing! good stuff!
anyway, its getting late, and im meant to be talking to natacha on msn!

22nd Birthday.
well well, its finally arrived.
Ent has gained another set of grey hairs, and is in the process of celebrating 22 "fabulous" years of existance on the earth, in the form of dinner out with my family, we went to bottelino's (a fantastic little italian restaurant at the top of bath's city centre) and had a meal there. as always, it was lovely.
tonights endeavours will consist of spending some time with my dad, ive been told he has something planned, although no one knows what... im guessing a trip to the local pub but i cant be certain. all that i know is that it will be just me and my dad this evening, no one else so it could be anything and anywhere!
on another note i had a text from emma today, she has gone to see lloyd (an ex) and he has told her that he never wants to see her again. im not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing, but going on the vibe that im getting off emma about lloyd, its a good thing, although i can imagine she's a bit upset about the ordeal.
in other news maria has been trying to get in touch with me, which is the main reason as to why im posting this entry if im honest (HELLO MARIA! *WAVES*) yes, i am still alive! just been busy. in the time since we last spoke me and emma have got back together, i have joined a gym, and moved workplaces (still working for the same company, just different location) so life has been pretty chaotic and mad over here!
yesterday marked the end of the first proper lan at the house in bath! we were plagued with problems regarding online gaming, but i think thats down to the ISP more than anything, luke has been kind enough to give us one of his old routers so that me and phil may be able to actually play generals online with ging and gene now! (w00t!)
before that! there was valentines day, which i hope emma enjoyed, i didnt have much funds or time to work with as we got back together merely days before valentines day. however with what resources i did have i conjoured as romantic and nice an evening as i could. which consisted of a nice bunch of roses for emma, some nice scented candles (with lots of little candles around them) layed around a nice hot bath, which had a bath bomb placed in it (smelling of jasmine i believe! and glitter... lots of glitter!!!!!) so emma came out looking and smelling like a golden fairy! heheh. i hope she appreciated it though
i actually took a picture of the bath before i led her into the bathroom... i apologise at how bad the picture is but i only had my mobile phone camera on me, so it was the best i could do! but it sets the mood out for the evening!
