I rarely pimp any causes but this one is the exception. Project Valour-IT is providing laptops and voice-controlled software to the wounded military members recovering from hand and arm injuries or amputations at major military medical centers. Right now there is a friendly competition going on divided by branch. If you are a civilian, just choose a branch the Army to support and donate. I'm not talking about giving up all your beer money, just a week's worth. Donate by November 11th over at Blackfive's. I've made my donation. I'm spreading the word now through my blog. The next step is putting up flyers. If each of you that reads my blog could just give $25 or even $10, you'll make one hell of a difference. Come on people, pull together for our troops!
All funds go directly to Project Valour-IT to purchase and ship the laptop, software and accessories. All donations are tax-deductible and may be eligible for matching funds from donors employers (ask your employer).
