So tax day is coming up fast and being the lovely procrasinater that I am, I am doing my part and putting it off to the very last minute.

Actually, normally I never wait 'till April to file or go to the post office. I usually get everything up and done by March. But this year, I owe so I'm not in such a hurry to pay as I am to receive a check.

Figures.

I am also having techincal difficulties printing out my tax forms from Tax Cut. I installed the program on the computer that lacks a printer :( So I'm trying to get my brother to let me install the program on to his computer or network the printer in his room to print them out.

So, where are you guys at in your tax preparations? Filed, paying or just waiting to the last minute like me?

I have been writing in my various journals since the darling age of 12.

I started to convert that into the lovely age og "blogging".

Now with the help of lulu, I am in the process of collecting all these entries and converting the contents into a book.

It's more of a keepsake item anything. I don't want to be "discovered" or become famous over a batch of rants that I had when I was 16 about the death of alternative music.

If anything, all I would really like to have is a interesting coffee table book that could one day serve as a reminder to my future children that once upon a time, their mommy was a lot like them.

A rebel at heart. :)

I'm such a very bad example!

I decided to do a "CD Mix Swap" involving your favorite songs from soundtracks. And we were all supposed to have them sent out by May 31st. Being a complete dork, I had forgotten that was a holiday weekend.

Not only that, like usaully I couldn't send the CD's out until I got some money for postage. (What else is new?) But I'm proud to say that all my CD's have been sent off, which is a sweet relief..

Oh damnit! What the hell makes me think that wearing my "Comfortable, yet baggy" khakis was a good idea? Did I not learn my lesson from Halloween Haunt?

Tay in baggy pants + The public at large = A very ugly sight.

An ugly sight indeed. These pants ALWAYS fall off my waist (and not in a good way) and I find myself walking around stores with my fingers around my belt loops trying to keep it all in place.

I have a belt... I think. Or I did have a cute Jack Skellington one, that my boyfriend bought me for x-mas. (Mainly because he had just about enough of mooning his friends..) But I think I lost it. So I'm stuck with my fingers. Sigh...

My stomach has been killing me today. Was it the coffee I drank? Was it going too long with a decent meal in my tummy? Was it the stress of having my mom back in hospital yesterday (she's okay.) Whatever it is, it's wrecking havoc on my stomach. I have been absolute pain for the last 5 hours. I took a Mortin in the mild hope's that it will take it all away.

I just finished up doing my taxes. I used Tax Cut this year, instead of going down to H& R Block. I didn't have the funds for it this year. I set a new record. Doing my taxes only took me 15 minutes to do. (Short Form, of course ;) That's just wonderful. They're good and done.


And to my surprize, I'm actually getting some back. I was all in a panic before, thinking I would end up paying. I only worked for 3 and 1/2 months last year, and spent the majority on Unemployment. And I never took any taxes out. I probably would have gotten it all back if I did. Oh well. Live and learn.

Ohhh.. I'm so lazy. (lol) I haven't written in a few days. Actually on Monday I had a great excuse. I threw my back out. Yup. I woke up.. drank a cup of coffee with my mom. Then it happened. A strong, sharp pain snuck up on me through my shoulders, traveling down to my spine. Before I knew it, I was stuck on the sofa, with her neck pointed to the right side, and my back was in throbbing pain.


So I was pretty much stuck in bed the whole day. Then on tuesday I promised myself I would start burning the cd's for the Winter Burn CD Swap. I never even looked at the computer that day.


Hmm.. I think I'm going about this the wrong way.

It stinks. My house smells gross from all the bleach in the back shower. It started to develop a nasty case of mold. We can never seem to keep that part clean. The title has cracks in it which causes all the water to creep and stay a while, which leads to our mold problem.

I want to gut those 2 bathrooms out completely, and have them re-done. But alas.. that will have to wait for another time. Got bills to pay... creditors to avoid. You know how it is.
